Head of House job summary
We are looking to appoint an excellent teacher with strong leadership and pastoral experience. In addition, a whole school leadership priority will be allocated to support the school improvement plan.
The successful candidate will have a proven and measurable track record of outstanding form tutoring including relevant experience of pastoral leadership and management. The successful candidate will also have experience and impact of leading others to improve their teaching practice, pupil progress and their impact as a form tutor.
We are looking for someone who wants to be the best. Someone who:
Is excellent in the classroom
Will lead by example
Has a proven track record of raising attainment through their teaching and learning, making a positive impact within and beyond their own classroom
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, inspire, lead and support colleagues
Has a commitment to working strategically as part of a team and working collaboratively with the leadership team, colleagues, parents and Trustees
Has a clear vision and commitment to school improvement
