As the Head of HR, you will lead and inspire the HR team, drive forward people-focused strategies, and ensure that our HR services support the Trust’s growth and sustainability.

About the role

As Head of HR, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all HR services within the Trust, working closely with senior leadership to align workforce strategies with the Trust’s mission to provide world class education for all our students. You will lead and develop the HR team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in areas such as talent acquisition, policy development, HR systems, and workforce planning. Additionally, you will oversee complex employee relations cases and drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring a positive and inclusive culture throughout the Trust.

About you

We are seeking a passionate and experienced HR leader with a strong background in senior HR management. You will have a deep understanding of employment law and HR best practices, with proven experience managing complex employee relations issues and driving organisational change. Your ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders, unions, and external partners will be key, alongside excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills and hold a CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
