Head of Humanities job summary

Are you passionate about shaping young minds and fostering a love for Humanities? We are seeking a dedicated Head of Humanities teacher to lead our department and inspire pupils to explore the rich tapestry of History, Geography and RE.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced Humanities teacher and has strong leadership and communication skills
  • Is able to develop an innovative and progressive curriculum in the Humanities department
  • Is able to inspire and motivate both members of their team and pupils.
  • Is organised and efficient.
  • Willing to organise enrichment activities to enhance the learning experience for pupils.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team

Teaching pupils in year 5-8 in a middle school is a rewarding experience, instilling in them a love of the Humanities subjects. Leading a small close-knit and supportive team, we are looking for someone who is inspiring and committed.
