Littleport and East Cambridgeshire Academy (LECA) is a new, state-of-the-art Secondary school primarily serving the popular and thriving village of Littleport, Cambridgeshire. It opened in September 2017 with a cohort of 84 Year 7 students and will grow year on year until it reaches capacity of 600 in 2022. Currently the Academy has 350 students and is over-subscribed.
LECA shares its campus with Littleport Leisure – a brand new leisure centre – and Highfield Littleport Academy (SEN) meaning the opportunities for all users are vast. The vision for the Academy and the campus as a whole is to be the go-to location in East Cambridgeshire to learn and to spend leisure time.
We are looking to recruit an outstanding
Head of Humanities
The successful applicant will have:
• A proven track record of outstanding progress across KS3 and KS4
• A creative imagination that inspires students
• Ambition to lead and drive change in a growing school
• Motivation, resilience and desire to succeed
Salary: MPS / UPS + Competitive TLR
