Head of ICT and Computer Science job summary

The Governors at Cornelius Vermuyden are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher and inspirational leader to join our outstanding school from Easter or summer 2022.

The successful candidate will have:-

• creativity and dynamism to develop outstanding and innovative classroom practice;
• a passion for learning and teaching within ICT and Computer Science;
• a proven track record of student achievement in these areas.

The successful candidate will be expected to:-

• oversee and teach ICT at KS3 and KS4 across our offer of Functional Skills ICT, BTEC DIT and GCSE Computer Science;
• make a positive contribution to school life and extra-curricular activities;
• further develop this well-established department into the next phase.
