• Are you a talented and enthusiastic Network Manager looking to develop your practice in a new environment?
• Do you have a proven track record of effectively leading a team and developing systems to ensure end users have a fantastic ICT experience?
We are looking to appoint an inspiring individual to join our outstanding Academy to lead our in-house ICT Support Team as we continue to improve and develop our IT systems to support teaching and learning and administration.
This is an onsite, in person role and we cannot accommodate remote working.
The successful candidate will:
• Be passionate about ICT and have the ability to combine operational management with outstanding customer service
• Be an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with all staff at the academy
• Have a proactive attitude, enjoy solving problems and get a sense of achievement about making a difference and improving effectiveness.

Thank you for expressing an interest in the post of Head of ICT Support (ICT Network and Development Manager) at Clapton Girls’ Academy.
We are an outstanding 11-19 academy. We prioritise high quality learning and teaching to ensure successful student achievement. Our students are keen to learn and a pleasure to teach. We provide a warm and welcoming learning environment with a strong team of committed teachers and support staff. Staff can develop their teaching practice through a number of opportunities, including ongoing CPD, access to a range of courses and through our status as a World Class School and leading member of the Hackney Teaching Schools Alliance (HTSA).
The ICT support team consists of 3 staff members – 2 technicians and a Head of ICT Support (ICT Network and Development Manager) who we are seeking to appoint. The ICT support team is an innovative department which maintains the Academy’s VMware infrastructure including physical and wireless networks and server infrastructure. This is in addition to backup and communication systems. The ICT support team is also responsible for managing software deployments and providing support to school management systems. The team regularly engage and seek feedback from staff at all levels of the organisation to improve the ICT support end user experience.
