Head of KS3 Art and Design Technology.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding art teacher to the role of Head of Key Stage 3 Art and Design Technology. Applications are invited from inspirational, dedicated and talented art teachers who have a proven track record of successful art teaching and achievement across all abilities at Key Stage 3 and 4. Furthermore, the successful candidate will want to progress their career by leading on a wider range of subjects within KS3 design technology, specifically product design and graphics.

We have a strong ethos of training and support. For those art teachers and leaders who are considering this role but are unsure about graphics and product design, we are able to provide in depth training in these areas as we have extensive expertise within the academy. The previous leader for this area has been promoted onto the Senior Leadership Team and will provide all relevant training required to develop the skills of the successful candidate. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants greater leadership responsibility, wants to develop a portfolio of leadership and has a desire to progress their career.
