Head of Learning (Year 7) job summary
The opportunity has arisen to become the Head of Learning to our new Year 7 students (from September 2021). You will work closely with the Inclusion team and line manage an Assistant Head of Learning, as well as a tutor team to ensure all students get the best possible pastoral care throughout their time at Highcrest, sharing responsibility for the learning and personal development of all students. You will move through the years with your year group to ensure they maximise their potential.
The role includes leading and monitoring a tutor time programme, organising and monitoring Life Lesson, as well as taking a strategic lead to ensure the students display the highest level of attendance, punctuality and behaviour throughout school.
The ability to teach Maths, Science. Art/Photography or Sociology/History would be an advantage.
