Head of Marketing and Communications job summary

Maiden Erlegh Trust are seeking an experienced marketing and communications professional to join our developing organisation as our new Head of Marketing and Communications, following the retirement of the current postholder. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will ideally have a degree, or professional qualification, in marketing or a related discipline and will be able to add immediate value in a supportive and collaborative environment. Experience from within the education sector is not a pre-requisite but the successful candidate will be committed to living by our values of Aiming High, Being Inclusive, and Working Together for the betterment of our children and young people, our staff, and our local communities. Purpose of the role:

  • To drive the promotion of Maiden Erlegh Trust and its constituent schools by leading on the development and implementation of the Trust’s Marketing and Communication strategy.
  • To be responsible for the development, leadership and continual improvement of the marketing and communications function.
  • To develop and lead the Trust’s Marketing and Communications team.

Hybrid role, but frequent travel to our school sites and to our Shared Services centre is required. As a result the successful candidate will be required to hold a full driving licence.
