Head of Mathematics job summary
We are looking for an experienced teacher to come and lead the maths department to enthuse and engage our students with our innovative curriculum.
You will be responsible for the strategic lead and management of a small, but growing team of experienced and dedicated teachers. This is a leadership opportunity to provide clear, effective guidance to colleagues, developing their teaching practice and maximise standards of student attainment. As a purpose built school, Aureus has brand new classrooms and laboratories using the latest equipment such as SMART TV boards in every classroom and Visualisers enabling teachers to bring learning to life and engage our learners. Lesson planning and delivery is done with ease using the Google Drive and all staff and students are provided with Office 365 professional accounts as a platform for collaboration, sharing and out of school access.

Aureus School is a state of the art comprehensive 11-16 school that opened on the Great Western Park, Didcot, in September 2017 soon to be with year groups 7 to 10. The Details
Salary - MPR / UPR + TLR 1

Virtual Interview date – 8th October 2020
Applicants are invited to a 1:1 tour of the school by prior arrangement.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to undertake a panel interview via video call and complete a written assessment relevant to the role.
