Head of Mathematics job summary

Ormiston Meridian Academy is a thriving secondary academy with a clear ambition of shaping lives, building ambition and igniting futures. We are now seeking to appoint an outstanding and ambitious teacher and leader as Head of Mathematics to join us in January 2022.

This is a key appointment for the academy and the successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Mathematics to build on the current strong performance, set out an exciting vision for the future, develop colleagues to reach their full potential and ensuring the department is recognised locally and regionally for the quality of its provision and the achievement of students.

Applications are invited from inspirational classroom practitioners and leaders who are dedicated to making a difference in young people’s lives across all abilities.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed by Monday 18th October 2021 and interviews will take place that week (prior to October half-term).
