Head of Mathematics job summary
Due to the relocation of the current postholder, we are seeking to recruit an exceptional full time Head of Mathematics to join us in September 2021. The successful candidate will be looking for an opportunity to enhance their career in the classroom and have the ability to effectively develop their pedagogy and practice as the leader of a high performing team. Experience of teaching Mathematics across the full range of KS3-5 is desirable. In addition, you will need to be an enthusiastic, lively and versatile leader with a passion for your subject and the desire to contribute to the future direction and success of the Mathematics department and the Academy as a whole.
The post would suit experienced teachers, for whom an effective induction scheme is in place.
This is an exciting time to join the Academy and support its improvement with an opportunity to make a difference within the subject area and across the Academy.

Sir Robert Pattinson Academy is an 11 – 18 comprehensive school recently judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted as a result of the education and opportunities provided to pupils, enabling them to flourish within a calm and caring environment.
