The Department

The Maths Directorate is a supportive, dedicated, and passionate department staffed by a cohesive team who work together to achieve excellent outcomes for students. Progress of students in Maths is above the national average with excellent results expected in 2023. The department leads an exciting curriculum that celebrates both high academic expectations and the development of student character through challenging schemes of work that ensure pupils can apply Maths in a range of contexts.


The Role

We are seeking a leader who will ensure that good results at GCSE and A-Level continue to rise and 6th form recruitment is maximised. You will be able to develop and deliver strategies and plans to: further improve girls’ progress, address SEN support and outcomes and put numeracy at the forefront for improving the numeracy of pupils across the Academy. You will have a strong commitment to effective behaviour management within a restorative practice framework. You will have the proven ability to manage and support a large staff group and maintain momentum and morale.

You should be inspired by Broadway’s existing co-curricular and extra-curricular offer through its outdoor education centre in Worcestershire and want to bring your creativity to expand this for the department and the benefit of our students.
