Head of Maths job summary
Required for April 2022, an enthusiastic and talented teacher of Maths to lead and teach classes across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and lead the development of a successful Maths Faculty in our popular, expanding and over-subscribed school. The successful candidate will also be a member of the school’s Wider Senior Leadership Team.
Sackville is a large, mixed, 11-18 comprehensive with 1700 on roll. We are a STEM school, leader in Space Education and hold International School, Artsmark Silver, Healthy School and Good Schools Guide awards.
Our GCSE results are consistently strong with extremely positive progress 8 scores. Our A level progress is at the top end of all local authority providers. Maths is a high-performing team at GCSE and A level with good uptake numbers for A level Maths and Further Maths.
