We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Head of Media and Photography to join our Creative & Media Curriculum Team. The is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to establish our new Media department based in the Academy’s recently installed state of the art TV studio. The successful candidate will lead the planning and delivery of a new Level 2 BTEC Creative Media Production course, as well as existing courses in Photography at both GCSE and A level. We are looking to appoint someone who is highly organised, innovative and will be focussed on delivering high quality teaching and accurate and effective assessment, leading to strong outcomes for our students. They will have a proven track record of successful teaching in this area, particularly at Key Stages 4 and 5, with a strong practical skillset in photography, filming and editing.
