Your new role:
This is a truly exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious languages specialist to lead our Modern Foreign Languages department at Trinity School. You will be instrumental in inspiring and motivating both the department and the students. You will play a key role in helping to drive the school forward; raising standards and creating outstanding life chances for students.
We are looking to recruit an education professional who is passionate about teaching, and engendering a love of, languages.
Here at Trinity, all students study either French or German at Key Stage 3, enabling them to gain the skills and knowledge to allow them to continue to GCSE. At Key Stage 4, all pupils study a language, with the small exception of those requiring additional literacy intervention. We also offer both French and German at Key Stage 5.
What you will need to succeed:
You will need to exhibit a passion for languages and radiate creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom. You will have high expectations of yourself, the departmental staff and the pupils. You will be committed to improving the learning outcomes for all pupils in the school and sustaining our commitment to providing an opportunity for all pupils to study a modern foreign language, whilst providing a supportive and nurturing environment for other teachers in the department.
