Head of MFL (Spanish) job summary

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, inspirational and experienced practitioner to join and lead our MFL department. Applicants should have excellent subject knowledge and a proven track record of outcomes at GCSE. The successful candidate will join a small but collaborative team who are committed to delivering a curriculum that’s accessible to all, providing the broadest possible range of opportunities for students. 

The MFL department consists of three other members of staff, besides the subject lead, who all teach in designated classrooms in close proximity to each other. The department is well resourced and is committed to employing a Spanish language assistant every year. Spanish is taught to all year groups and a healthy number of KS4 students go on to study GCSE Spanish (AQA).
