Your main place of work will be Tavistock College, but you may be required to work across all the schools within The Dartmoor Multi-Academy Trust at any time as directed by the Executive Team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The purpose of the role is to lead, manage and develop the whole Modern Foreign Languages faculty with a direct lead for a specific key stage. The role will ensure the quality of teaching and learning is good or outstanding, the curriculum is effectively planned, resourced and reviewed reflected through student performance. The role must ensure effective tracking and intervention is offered where appropriate. The postholder has strategic responsibility to ensure achievement and progression is reached for all students in Modern Foreign Languages. Working with other postholders this job is pivotal in ensuring that a collegiate approach is evident across all three key stages offering an exciting and successful curriculum that is value for money. The job holder will work closely with the leads of other faculties within the college to ensure all students gain effective qualifications and achieve progress.
