HEAD OF MFL (from September 2021) - Full time /part-time (job share considered)
Salary: Main/upper pay range plus TLR

We require a passionate and motivated MFL teacher to lead and develop the department in the school’s formative years and beyond. Candidates should have previous experience of teaching Mandarin and/or Spanish to GCSE and ideally to A level. Candidates should have a proven track record of raising the quality of teaching and learning, demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and have the ability to deliver inspirational lessons.

Katherine Warington School is a new comprehensive, co-educational and non-denominational academic secondary school with 360 Year 7 / Year 8 students. We will add further students in each subsequent year then open 250 strong Sixth Form. By 2025 we have grown to our capacity of 1150 was established through the partnership Harpenden Secondary Schools Trust which includes three outstanding schools Harpenden: Roundwood Park, St George’s Sir John Lawes additional partners: University Hertfordshire Rothamsted Research Centre (a world leading non-profit agricultural science research centre).
