What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint, an enthusiastic, creative and innovative Head of MFL into a continuously popular, highly successful and ambitious department. As a rapidly growing school this is an excellent opportunity to gain a full-time permanent post for the academic year 2024/2025. We are looking for teachers with a love of their subject, ambition and the ability to engage young people in learning. We provide a unique environment in which both teachers and pupils thrive. Our MFL department follows an EPI curriculum which is well established, and pupils enjoy using Sentence Builders and the associated games in their MFL learning. We also use them at KS4 and GCSE uptake has been increasing since its implementation.

Role Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or ECT with recent UK classroom experience essential gained during training
  • Up to date knowledge of your specialist area for years 7 – 11
  • Dedicated, creative and hardworking individual
  • A real willingness to learn new skills
