Head of Music job summary
Beaumont School is looking to appoint a Head of Music with the expertise to build on the existing strengths of the Music Department and the drive to continue to raise the profile of the subject within the school. Beaumont has a proud tradition of musical excellence and music is an entitlement for all students, with a dedicated timetable allocation throughout Key Stage Three. It is a popular GCSE choice and the school consistently maintains an A Level class.
The Head of Department will manage a department of one other teacher, a significant number of instrumental specialists and will oversee our ambitious extra-curricular programme.
