Head of Music job summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced teacher who can take responsibility for the education and welfare of designated children, having due regard to the requirements of the National Curriculum and school policies. To liaise with the Head of Creative Arts and work on collaborative projects.
Specific responsibilities
Teaching music to designated groups and individuals across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Providing support and advice to colleagues for cross-curricular music.
leading music ensembles.
Liaising with the Head of Music to organise whole school musical events, performances and visits.
Providing other general class teaching duties as directed by the Headteacher.
Lead group lessons as required by the Headteacher.
Giving every child the opportunity to reach their potential.
