Chiltern Hills Academy invites applications for the opportunity to join the staff of a successful, mixed 11–18 Church of England Academy. Based in the market town of Chesham, Buckinghamshire, we are located in the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty conveniently situated at the end of the London Underground Metropolitan Line.

Required from January 2022, an exceptional and dynamic Music teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be extremely motivated and will contribute to the high-quality music provision in school. They will join our vibrant and thriving Performing Arts department, which is housed in a purpose-built block with excellent facilities. Applicants should be outstanding classroom practitioners with superb subject knowledge and the ability to teach all age ranges between Year 7 and Year 11. If you are an effective and innovative teacher who is fully committed towards raising standards and improving results, then we would welcome your application.
The successful candidate will be fully involved in departmental development, target setting and evaluation of student progress and will possess the following attributes:

Chiltern Hills Academy is a Church of England, co-educational secondary school in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. There are circa 1025 students on the school roll, approximately 100 of whom study in the sixth form. Chiltern Hills Academy converted to academy status in 2011 and is jointly sponsored by the Diocese of Oxford and Buckinghamshire County Council.

Situated close to the M40 and the M25, Chesham is on the end of Metropolitan line of the London Underground and is 28 miles north-west of London. There is ample parking on-site.
