What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a passionate, skilled teacher and leader as Head of Music, to lead a thriving music department across KS3 to KS5.

Music and Drama are proud of their collaborative work which includes an annual whole school production, concerts and a range of extracurricular clubs and ensembles. Music is prized in the school and forms a key part of our engagement with the local community. The successful candidate would seek to offer their skills and expertise in these areas.

What the school offers its staff

The music department sits within a Creative Arts Faculty consisting of art, photography, music, and drama. The faculty is supported by two technicians, with one being dedicated to music and performance. The department benefits from superb, purpose built, modern facilities with two main teaching rooms and nine smaller practice rooms as well as ICT and recording resources and a separate store for instruments and music.
