Vacancy: Head of PE

We are seeking to recruit a passionate and motivated individual to lead the PE department. Physical Education and sport play a central role in life at Flegg and all pupils are encouraged to become physically active through the curriculum and extensive extra-curricular programme we offer.
The ideal candidate is likely to be someone who has strong subject knowledge, is keen to develop their understanding of how children learn, and willing to stay abreast of current developments in educational practice in order to inspire colleagues within the PE department.
We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate excellent communication skills, are proactive and have the ability to transmit enthusiasm in the classroom as well as being a hands-on leader, able to juggle multiple demands on their time and maintain a sense of perspective.

Salary: MPS + TLR of £6,674.35
