Salary: MPS - UPS + TLR2C £7847 pro rataWe have a once in a career opportunity to work in our brand new, state of the art, £34 million school. This is a genuinely unique opportunity to take on a key role at the first ‘all through’ school in Essex, judged Outstanding by Ofsted in January 2023.

We are seeking to appoint aHead of PE Job Share, 0.4 or 0.6 (2 or 3 days per week). The successful candidate will be a strong practitioner, with a passion for PE and sport. In addition, you will be reflective, excited by taking risks, and accepting that failure is a part of the learning process. Promoting lifelong learning through your constant drive to improve your own practice, you will support those you lead to develop their skills. You will believe passionately in the importance of education for all children, refusing to accept that disadvantage or SEND should limit ambition or potential. You will be capable of delivering PE to A Level standard.

The closing date is 12:00 noon on Friday 17th May 2024 with interviews to be held on Tuesday 21st May 2024.

What the school offers its staff

About the School

The Beaulieu Park School opened the doors to 60 Reception children in September 2018. In September 2019, another cohort were welcomed into the Primary School, together with 180 Year 7 students. The school is growing each year with a new cohort of entry. We were pleased again this year that we were oversubscribed with families nominating us as their first choice school. We now have over 1400 students in years R, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. Our 6th form provision will open in September.

The Beaulieu Park School is Essex’s first ‘All Through’ school and the primary phase opens for reception students in September 2018 with the secondary phase opening in September 2019. The Beaulieu Park School will welcome its first cohort of 60 reception aged children in two classes. In September 2019, 180 Year 7 students will be admitted. Year on year the school will grow, providing 420 places for local children between four and eleven years old by 2024 and 900 places for local children between 11 and 16 years old by 2023.
