HEAD OF PERFORMING ARTS — MPS / UPS + TLR 1A (£9,272) (Required For January 2024 —Permanent Position)
We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, experienced teacher and leader of performing arts to manage our Performing Arts Faculty. The successful candidate will be required to teach drama at all key stages in a faculty which also delivers dance and music from Year 7 to GCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the subject and will be an inspirational leader who can demonstrate outstanding classroom practice. They will inspire and promote highest expectations of colleagues and create a collaborative and innovative ethos within the faculty.
We are looking for a dynamic leader who can motivate students, staff and the entire school community behind a
Performing Arts Faculty which becomes the heart and soul of the school. The successful candidate will lead by example
and will be responsible for all areas of the faculty including its section of the school improvement plan, including
management and deployment of human, physical and financial resources.

We have over 1400 students on roll with approximately 240 students in the Sixth Form. The school is over-subscribed!
