We are a Secondary Academy on the South Coast of England in a town between Hastings and Eastbourne. The 'bright lights' of Brighton are around 45 mins away and London 1.5/2hours. We are surrounded by lovely countryside, nice villages, walks, pubs and historical sites. On the sea there is sailing, rowing, swimming and kite surfing activities to name but a few. We have the De La Warr Pavillion Theatre which hosts ongoing entertainment including plays, music, festivals etc. This is a friendly community and we are 'family' Academy. We boast a modern building with excellent facilities and with staff wellbeing an important part of life at the Academy. Our students come from the local area and are therefore varied and individual. Don't just read this, the best way to decide if you want to apply is to visit and so pre application visits or chats are encouraged. What have you got to lose!
