Head of Physical Education job summary

We are looking to appoint an inspirational Head of PE to join our unique, oversubscribed all-through school.

The ideal candidate will be positive and ambitious to lead a committed team. At Simon Balle, we empower students to realise and act upon their sporting and academic potential through high quality Teaching and Learning, be it through recreational activities or as a national performer. Our all-through curriculum inspires, motivates and challenges students through the delivery of a personalised curriculum thus becoming leaders, independent learners, creative thinkers and above all more well-rounded students.

You will be responsible for the dynamic and effective strategic and operational all-through leadership of Physical Education and sporting life at Simon Balle All-through school including leading the department in enhancing academic standards within the PE curriculum across all key stages..
