Head of Physics job summary

George Salter Academy is a friendly, happy and vibrant 11-18 academy, serving a multi-cultural community and we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Head of Physics to join us from Easter 2024 or before if possible.

The successful candidate, guided by our Head of Department, will provide professional leadership and management of Physics in order to secure high quality teaching, combining subject expertise with a passion for securing the highest outcomes. You will also play a vital role in fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and to help instil a love for scientific exploration among our students. The post would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physics teacher looking to further their career.
