Head of Physics job summary
Required from September 2022 - Head of Physics
Helston Community College, part of the Southerly Point Co-operative Multi-Academy Trust, are looking for an enthusiastic, inspirational and committed Head of Physics to join our successful Science Faculty from September 2022. There is a TLR available to take on the leadership of the Physics across all key stages, the value of which will be negotiated and based upon the experience and leadership potential of the successful candidate.
We are looking for a person who is able to teach across the full age and attainment range at KS3, KS4 and KS5; a knowledgeable and inspirational teacher, who will share their expertise and love of the subject, and teach lessons which inspire and challenge students. The successful candidate will have a commitment to evidence-based teaching methods as demonstrated through professional development, and be able to work effectively as part of our dedicated and passionate Science Department. A level Physics is a popular and successful course at the College.
