Queen Elizabeth's School is recruiting for a Head of Physics to join our friendly Science department.

Actual Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 ( M1 - UP3) and in addition TLR 2.3, £8,279 per annum.
The post is offered on a Full Time and Permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic professional to join our upper school. We are on a journey of rapid improvement and want inquisitive, positive, dynamic and resilient colleagues to join our excellent Science department.
Our thriving department is currently recruiting for a Head of Physics. The department is very well-resourced and there will be the opportunity to teach across all Key Stages.
Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who

Is an exceptional teacher of Physics with proven success in the subject

Is passionate about Science and Physics education and committed to student engagement

Has the ability to inspire students

Has an awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction

An awareness of some of the concepts explored in Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series.
