Head of Physics job summary
Head of Physics
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated Head of Physics to complement and lead a knowledgeable team while working alongside our science leadership team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a desire to build strong relationships within the team and across the school.
The Science department has a history of outstanding performance outcomes. Students are able to take the three sciences separately at GCSE as well as the three science A levels. We also offer a L3 course in Applied Science. The successful candidate will join a science department fully staffed with specialist science teachers in each of the three science disciplines. The department also runs a variety of science clubs and activities with students regularly participating in regional and national science challenges and events.
