This is a great opportunity to join the Science Faculty at Tomlinscote School.

We are looking for an outstanding Head of Department who is enthusiastic and passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver inspiring lessons, be part of creating an exceptional place of learning and help build on the excellent current standards of the department in this ‘outstanding’ school.

We expect all staff to undertake a pastoral role as a form tutor. There are also opportunities to get involved in the wider life of the school through trips and extra-curricular activities.

We will develop every staff member that joins our team, providing one-to-one support, coaching and mentoring and access to extensive professional development.

You must hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, alongside relevant experience at teaching Physics GCSE to be considered for this post.
