What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to promotion of the current postholder, an exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint an exceptional Head of Primary / Academy Deputy Headteacher to help lead our staff and students in the next stage of our development. To be successful, you must have an expert knowledge of the process of learning, coupled with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. You will have a desire to progress further in your career, and the ability to make a difference. You will also value collaborative working as part of a large all-through Academy and Multi-Academy Trust.

OFSTED inspected the Academy in June 2022 and judged the school to be GOOD with Leadership and Management, Personal Development and Sixth- form Provision graded OUTSTANDING.

The Academy has a clear vision and ethos which has led to outstanding results and is the school of choice for local parents. Key to success is a relentless focus on high quality teaching and learning and a flexible and innovative curriculum enabling learners to follow individualised pathways to suit their abilities and aspirations. Our specialisms are English and Digital Technologies, and as an Apple Distinguished School and the Regional Training Centre for Apple in Hertfordshire, we have innovative use of iPad technology across the school. There are excellent facilities for both staff and students.
