Head of Psychology job summary
Governors are seeking to appoint for September 2022 an experienced, committed and enthusiastic Head of Psychology. We are looking for a well-qualified teacher and exceptional practitioner who will be committed to playing a key role in the college and in the continued success of Psychology. The successful candidate will be required to teach A Level and candidates should be hard working and dedicated with sound classroom management. Psychology is a popular and successful subject at St. Michael’s and this position provides significant career development potential for the right candidate.
St Michael’s has been judged outstanding by Ofsted on two successive occasions and is an outward looking school with an excellent reputation in the local area. It is a strategic partner in the Catholic Schools’ Partnership and works as part of the Southwark Schools Learning Partnership and London South Teaching School Hub in conjunction with other schools in the Borough including private schools.
