Head of RE/Teacher of RE job summary

An experienced and outstanding teacher to join our Academy as Head of RE. We are looking for a teacher who can inspire our students to learn with enthusiasm and to enjoy the experiences a school can bring.

As the Head of RE, you will play a pivotal role in developing and leading the RE curriculum within our academy. Working collaboratively with your direct team and SLT, you will use your leadership skills to deliver creative and vibrant lessons which inspire and motivate all students to excel. This post will give you the opportunity to shape the future of RE at Thornhill Community Academy, driving innovation and fostering a culture of excellence.

RE is a strong, well-respected subject, which is an integral part of our aspiration to ensure all students have the knowledge and understanding required, to make sense of a complex and diverse world. This is a real opportunity for an inspirational RE teacher to make their first step into leadership, or a current Head of Faculty to develop further with the support of our SLT.
