Head of Religion, Philosophy, Ethics (RPE) job summary
We are looking to appoint an inspirational and experienced Subject Leader of RPE with a passion for accelerating progress within the Humanities department. You will have the ability to teach RPE across the full age and ability range and will be able to enthuse, engage and motivate our students to achieve their full potential. This is an exciting time to join our journey of improvement and play a key part in transforming the lives of our young people.
The ideal candidate will:
Be an excellent Teacher of RPE

Have the ability to engage and inspire pupils and build excellent relationships;

Have knowledge and experience of leading an innovative curriculum
You will join a friendly and welcoming department, which is forward thinking, innovative and passionate about teaching. You will be a team player within Felixstowe School and within the wider Trust.
You will be keen to lead your team to enhance the extra-curricular offer, improve overall teaching and learning and ensure students and your team meet their potential.
CPD is important at Felixstowe School we are looking for a Head of Department who is keen to learn and ensure they see CPD as part of their wider role.
