What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and inspirational teacher to lead our Religious Education Department, as a job share with the current Head of Religious Education.

The successful candidate will be well qualified with a proven track record of teaching Religious Education, with very good outcomes as well as experience of leading and managing staff. A willingness to contribute to the wider life of our school community will also be essential.

The school’s ethos is supportive in ensuring students are happy, challenged appropriately, enjoy their learning and achieve well, no matter what their background is.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant religious education qualification.
  • Be able to provide religious education in accordance with Christian tenets, if required.
  • Be innovative, strategic and highly motivated.

  • Be able to successfully lead the department to new heights.
