Head of Religious Studies and PSHE job summary
Required for September 2020, a well-qualified and inspiring individual to teach and co-ordinate RE across the full age and ability range (including Philosophy and Ethics in the Sixth Form if appropriate). RE is offered as a full course option at GCSE and from September 2020, all students in Key Stage 4 will also follow a non-examined core course. PSHE is also taught throughout the age range. At Key Stage 3, it is taught through a series of discreet lessons and is already planned and resourced. At Key Stage 4, this will sit alongside the Core RE curriculum. You will be joining and working alongside an experienced, dynamic and very supportive Humanities department. The successful candidate is assured of support in their role.
