Lymm High School is a 11-18 school with nearly 2000 students (400 in the 6th form) and exceptional resources, including 28 acres of beautiful grounds, a swimming pool, leisure complex and our own residential centre in Anglesey. A very good and well-established school already, we have made rapid progress in recent years and have no intention of resting on our laurels. The potential here is huge.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead an already successful and growing RS department to even greater things. The RS team are an integral part of our Humanities faculty, which is a large, very capable and positive team with an ideal blend of levels of experience. Teachers are especially supportive of one another. RS is a popular and rapidly growing subject, with numbers opting to take the subject at both KS4 and KS5 increasing significantly in recent years. Results in 2019 were particularly impressive with 39% 9-7 and 90% 9-4. We would be delighted to receive applications from both experienced subject leaders and those seeking their first leadership position.
