Head of Resource Base for Students with Vision Impairment/QTVI
TPR + TLR2C £6827 per annum and 2 SEN points £4359
Full or part time considered.
We invite applications from innovative, resilient, creative and motivated individuals who can play a key role in our specialist provision for Visual Impairment. You will be an enthusiastic and outstanding QTVI Teacher who will inspire and motivate our students.
You will have responsibility for developing and promoting the use of Inclusion, with specific responsibility for VI provision across the school to support teaching and learning. You will be involved with coordinating the support provided to students including delivering programmes of skills development to enable pupils in accessing their learning. Students are taught in classes with their peer group, to encourage team building, social skills and confidence, by experienced class teachers in combination with the QTVI and with support from trained educational teaching assistants.
We have a new state-of-the-art building and this has given us a fresh boost, in an environment that is truly fit-for-purpose. This is both a challenging and exciting time to be working at Plantsbrook School.
