The Governing Body and Executive Headteacher of Bents Green School are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspiring Head of School for April 2022. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and talented leader, with a proven track record of raising achievement and improving teaching and learning in their school, to work with a great community of students, staff and parents. Bents Green School provides specialist education for young people aged 11-19 with Autistic Spectrum Conditions and Speech, Language and Communication Needs. Bents Green School is located across three sites: • Ringinglow (Key Stage 3) • Gleadless (Key Stage 4 and Post 16) • Satellite Hub at Westfield School. This position has no fixed teaching commitment, there is however, an expectation that the successful candidate can lead by example and has the skills to model high quality teaching and learning.
