Head of School job summary
Following the appointment of our current Headteacher to the post of Executive Headteacher of the Causeway School and Peacehaven Community School formal partnership, we are seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic leader with a proven track record of school improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who will be ambitious for our whole school community.
As Head of School, you will work alongside the Executive Headteacher to build on our current achievements, taking the school on to the next stage of its development. The portfolio for the successful candidate will be matched to the skillset of the candidate with the experience and attributes we are seeking.
This is an excellent opportunity for a leader who wants to develop their career in an exciting and supportive environment. Working in partnership with Swale Academies Trust and Peacehaven Community School we are focused on school improvement and continuous learning for both our students and our staff.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with leaders from across the Trust and be part of a thriving and highly successful network that stretches across Kent and East Sussex.
Causeway School is a small 11-16 comprehensive school of 525 students. The building is 20 years old, has excellent facilities and a positive, vibrant setting. Our students are at the centre of everything we do; putting their achievement first, within a caring community rich with opportunity is our moral imperative
