Head of School- Cherry Orchard Primary School job summary

The Head of School, under the direction of the Executive Head Teacher, will take a major role in:

- Leadership strategies that are effective in the progress and achievement of all pupils

- Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives

- Managing staff and resources to that end

- Monitoring progress towards the achievement of the school’s development plan

You will have to have:

• Successful leadership and management experience in a school
• Teaching experience across at least two key stages
• Involvement in school self-evaluation and development planning
• Demonstrable experience of successful line management and staff development
