Due to the retirement of the previous headteacher we are excited to announce an opportunity for an exceptional School leader, with the right blend of skills and experience to become the new Head of School at Ingram Road Primary School.
Established on the edge of the city we have the privilege of serving a culturally rich, diverse community that reflects the dynamic nature of Leeds. The environment is friendly and welcoming for all and the successful candidate will feel immediately part of the team. We value supporting holistically the whole child.
We are seeking a person with a proven track record of successful leadership who is inclusive in their style and truly committed to teaching and learning and making a positive difference to pupil outcomes. You will have an up-to-date knowledge of mainstream education, have a solid understanding of areas of provision and how these can benefit and enhance learning for all pupils, in particular those with SEND.
We are looking forward to welcoming someone with the ambition and drive to take the school forward as we start a new chapter in the development and progression of the school as we are in the process of converting to Academy status with Cockburn Multi-academy Trust.

- Passionate about primary education and have high expectations of children’s achievements and behaviour
- An experienced leader, confident in leading independently, taking the school forward
- A teacher at heart, keen to develop well rounded individuals, providing the support they need to achieve their potential
- The ability to work at phenomenal pace, managing strategic thinking in a fast-moving operational environment.
- A visible member of the school community, with a positive hands on approach
- Ability to work closely with Cockburn MAT, the LGB and the community as a whole.
