Maternity cover, 4 days per week, non-teaching
Our village school is part of Innovate Multi Academy Trust, where our aim is to make all of our schools great schools by offering our children amazing opportunities both in and especially out of the classroom. Kilsby is the smallest school in our Trust with 132 children and is located in a lovely village setting with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, Forest School, outdoor classroom, all weather pitch and running track. Our classrooms are all spacious, clean and bright learning spaces.
Due to the exciting news that our Head of School is expecting a baby in the Spring Term, we are looking to appoint a Head of School to deliver and sustain educational excellence at Kilsby School.
In addition to the leadership and day to day management of the school, you will be taking the lead in specific areas of responsibility identified by the school, and will act as one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads. If you have experience as a SENDCO there may be the opportunity for additional payment to carry out this responsibility.
We are looking for an outstanding and enthusiastic individual, who is aspiring to be a school leader and who can lead by example and model high quality teaching & learning.

The role will be offered as four days without any class responsibility and will primarily involve a focus on developing teaching and learning across the school.
