What skills and experience we're looking for
St Lewis’ Catholic Primary School is a small school with a big heart situated in the rural area of Croft. We have very strong relationships with other local schools as well as being part of Warrington’s Catholic Cluster of schools, and we pride ourselves on the strong relationships that we have with parents and carers, our Parish and local community. In liaison with the Archdiocese and the Local Authority, the Governing Body of our school wish to appoint an inspirational Head of School who will work closely with the Executive Headteacher in nurturing the faith and learning of children and staff within our school so that everyone in our schools is fulfilling their full potential.
You will be joining a forward-thinking organisation, so we are seeking outstanding candidates who want to continue to develop themselves to support our Catholic mission, educational vision, provide strong leadership and effective support to colleagues and raise standards for our wonderful pupils.
As well as having day-to-day oversight of the leadership and management of the school, continuing to have a small teaching responsibility is an important aspect of the Head of School role at St Lewis’ so that you can lead by example and model inspirational practice in the classroom. Working under the direction or the delegation of the Executive Headteacher, you will continue to develop our exciting, happy, successful and creative school.
This would be an excellent opportunity for an ambitious existing senior leader or middle leader with appropriate experience of leading teaching and learning, to develop excellent leadership skills and to further their career development.
