What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Support fully our Catholic ethos, vision and values
  • Be an excellent practitioner with secure knowledge of all Key Stages including EYFS
  • Support the school through the development of teaching and learning priorities across the school
  • Be accountable for the standards of achievement of pupils;
  • Support policy development and implementation;
  • Have an impact on the educational progress of the pupils
  • Support, develop and enhance the teaching practice of the school’s staff
  • Be committed to achieving the best outcome for every child
  • Be committed to their own continuing professional development
  • Support staff in raising standards across the school and developing leaders;
  • Work with the senior leadership team in ensuring the good order of the school and provide an environment in which all adults and children are enabled to achieve success and be proud of.
  • Liaise with other schools in our special ‘partnership’
  • Support on Teaching, Learning and Assessment
  • Take responsibility for the smooth running of the school and its statutory obligations
  • Liaise with parents and stakeholders
