What skills and experience we're looking for

The vacancy at Stone Lodge Academy has arisen as the previous Head of School left at the end of summer term 2022; we have had an interim appointment since then.

We are looking for someone with special school leadership experience and a mindset that fits our values. We can provide support to develop the right person.

HEAD OF SCHOOL KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Deliver and sustain educational excellence in teaching and learning throughout the school and more widely as part of the SENDAT Senior Leadership team, through a range of effective leadership strategies.

2. Take responsibility as Senior Manager in charge and SENDAT representative on-site for day -today operation of the School.

3. Work closely with the Executive Head / SENDAT CEO and central team to implement and monitor the strategic vision and associated business plan for the school.
